About Touché

It all began in the great state of Arizona. Kiowa and Luke first met in the fifth grade as the greatest rivals of the century. No, dare I say it, the millenia. After a two year rivalry, they set aside their differences for the love of music and teepee-ing and became great friends. Luke, Kiowa, and Ross met in tenth grade forming Team Rossluki and started shibby-ing and having routine meetings at the Grado. Due to a devastating event, the team went their seperate ways. Ross stayed in Mesa, Arizona while Luke moved to San Bernardino, California and Kiowa to Cave Creek, Arizona. Kiowa, on his own venture, met Randy through his brother in Cave Creek and hit it off like a home run. While there Kiowa was blessed with the opportunity to play the part of Embry Call in the Twilight Saga and soon moved to Los Angeles, California. Realizing that he missed his longtime friends Luke and Randy, Kiowa went on a treacherous mission to pick them up. Not long after, the three made another quest to attain the great and powerful Ross. Knowing that they all had a great passion for music, they decided to start a band. With already a few songs in the works, the band had not yet thought of a name. On one of their trips home from Arizona, Luke suddenly said the name "Touché" and everybody immediately agreed.

The music of Touché can best be described as having sinister screams, corpse-melting guitar riffs, and beats that scale a 10 on the "sickter scale." It would be hard to only pick one genre but experimental-thrash-jazzy-progressive-ness just rolls off the tongue. Each member plays a big part in the band. They all come together for the lyrics, while only Randy and Luke write the music. Luke plays guitar and does vocals, Randy plays the drums and guitar, Ross slaps the bass, and Kiowa serenades with his singing. Touché is heavily influenced by: Circle Takes the Square, Circa Survive, The Number Twelve Looks Like You, Thursday, The Black Dahlia Murder, Underoath, Brand New, Hidden In Plain View, Saosin, Modest Mouse, Veil of Maya, Knights of the Abyss, and, of course, each other. Not only are they bandmates but roommates as well, making their music stronger and better each day of their lives. Overall, Touché is four guys from Arizona living in Los Angeles with the dream to make music, play music, and shibby!
